Project Life – week 16 and 17

I didn´t blog any Project Life last Sunday so today I will show two Project Life pages as a compensation:)

Week 16:

This week I have documented our Saturdaybreakfast, we always eat sandwishes and the boys always drink cocoa meanwhile I always drink coffee and read the paper. This is our Saturday rutine, a great day to start the weekend I think. T have started to watercam his hair and calles it for ”Owa Powa”, it´s his own word for this and it´s so sweet. I wonder what it comes from:).

Here I have used products from my Coca Daisy kit together with a denimcolored acrylic paint and a stencil. The bright color papers behind the photos is from Echo Park. The little sweet clouds is a stamp from my lastest Cocoa Daisy kit. I love it!

Here is some close ups:

I love to use sentence like this on my pages.

I have stamped the clouds on craftpaper and cut them out.

Ribbon and a wooden arrow.

Week 17

This week is a partyweek. T ate his first icecream outside in the sun and O visited MacDonalds alone with P, a really nice time. We also had time for a visit at the playground and the boys picked some flowers for me, they are so sweet!

I have used a patterned paper and placed photos  in rows togheter with a big journalingbox. I used washitape as the main decoration. I love how this pages turned out and I really want to buy real photopockets for Project Life! Mabye I switch for them eventually.

A bit of washitape…

Circles and sequines, I think it works very well with the circles in the background

Great sentence I think, make the pages more vivid and living

Have a great Sunday!

Project Life – week 15

This week I have used a sketch from My Sketch World as a base for my page. This is actually a dubble sketch but I have used the one to the right as a single page.  All the sketches at My Sketch World is made by Lucy Chesna. If you want to use any of her sketch please e-mail her.

Here is my page:

This week it was a lot of counting fingers in our family:) and my husband and I took a trip to the big garden fair in Älvsjö and got a lot of inspirations!

I have played with a stencil and three different mists and some stamps on the background.

Close ups:

Here you can see the different mists, the stencilpattern and the stamps. Around the four I have put a wooden frame to get som dimension and interest. Woodproducts is one of my favorites right now!

I have filled the borders with a black pen to get the stickers to pop up from the background

Art for myself- I´m good

Title: ” I like to do that wich I´m good at”

The other day I made a guest post at Art for myself. It´s fun and liberating to do a Art journaling page now and then:) This month the theme is ”I´m good”.

After I covered the page with gesso I misted with yellow and pink mist. I also used a starstencil from Dylusions and my Big Brush Pens to fill the stars in. I made a layer with modellingpaste and a punchinellastencil and I also made some  arrows with green Lumiere acrylic paint and a stencil. Some stamped stars joined to:) At last but not least some green alphabetstickers.

Project Life – week 12 and Veckans Skiss – week 16

This week we wanted to help the Spring to come so we went to the store and bought some seeds to cultivate. When we got out of the store it started to snow a lot.  We stoped by McDonalds for lunch and then of we went home to plant the seeds with the snowing outside:). Everyone was helping out and we had a great afternoon. This page is both a project life week 12 and my take on Petras beautiful sketch at Veckans Skiss this week. Check it out HERE!

The backgroundpaper is from Elles Studio. And the striped paper is a old paper from Websters Pages.

I made  arrows out of a stencil (Balzer Design for Crafters Workshop) and green acrylicpaint with glitter by Luminere, I love to work with it, the effect is awesome! .

Empty rolls is perfect ”stamps”.

I have used stickers from October Afternoon and Jillibean Soup. If you draw around the outlines with a black pen the stickers pop out more from the page.

Playing games on the Ipad

Playing games on the Ipad is very popular in our family:). Here is my youngest son playing on daddys Ipad. This is one of my takes for the Sketch-A-Thon att My Sketch World a while ago. I have used my new stencil with dimondshapes together with brown acrylic paint.  I have used brown/green/ yellow colorcombo for this. I choosed that because of the color in the photo. It´s a unusual colorcombo for me but I love to challenge myself to do something new and try things that I usually don´t do.

And some close ups:

Some Prima flowers…..

A journalingsprout from Jillibean Soup

More Jillibean Soup and Prima:)……

Excursion – week 9 at Veckans Skiss

I made a project life LO this week based on Charlottes fabulous sketch at Veckans Skiss. Unfortunatley it´s the last sketch from Charlotte because she has leaving her DT assignment at VS. The arrows is a stencil I used with blue acrylicdabbers from Jenni Bowlin. I also used the revers pattern from the stencil on the right side. I didn´t want so much decorations on this because of all the photos, but a couple of bottons, flags and some flowers are invited:). You can see the sketch and the other Dt members awesome work HERE!

The reverse pattern from the stencil and acrylicdabber.

Thanks for the visit!

Sketch of the Week- Marjas sketch

This is my take on Marjas sketch this week. I have used cardstock and a patterned paper from My Minds Eye as a background. I shredded the patterned paper in a couple of places and let a circlepattern made of red distresinkpad and a stencil show. Then I added some yellow and red scrappaper, a doilie witch I misted red and some flowers and red sequins. At the top i splashed some black acrylic paint for depth. The title: ”Flu”. This week the whole family was home sick with the flu. Here I try to draw a little with my son wich had no fever that day.

To see the sketch and the other DT-members faboulous work. Look HERE!

The sketch of the week- Sketch No. 4

” Med en gravallvarlig min” – ”With a serious face”

This week I have made a sketch for ”The Sketch of the Week”. This is my own take on it. As a background I have used a stencil (Blazonry from Balzer Designs) together with black acrylic paint. I have used patterned papper in several layers and used my boarderpunch. I use boarderpunches a lot because I think the effect is striking. A chipboard decoration, a craftheart and some stickers is also added. This serious child is my oldest son when he was little. He liked to look at other people and when he did he had always this serious face. I wonder what he was thinking:)

A closeup on the background patterned from the stencil ”Blazonry” from Balzer Design and black acrylic paint.

Several layers of  banners and stickers.

A heartshape in craftpaper. For this I have used a heartdie from Tim Holtz.  I have stamped a swirl on in with distressink ”tumbled glass” and filled in the lines with white pen.

To see the sketch and look at the other members amazing takes look HERE!

I hope I got to se your entry!
