Project Life- vecka 27

Summerchallenges – hollidayphotos

Now the summerchallenges at Veckans Skiss has started! You get two sketches this week and two sketches next week. Read all about it here!

Jennie have made a lovely sketch with the twist: use several hollidayphotos. You can see it here!

Of course I took the opportunity to make a layout based on it!

Title:” Wild kids”

Last summer we went to Furuviksparken, a park with a zoo, a funfair and a area when the recorded earlier episodes of ”Wild kids”, a adventureprogram for children. The boys was very thrilled to get there (and even me and my husband:) thought it was fun to test some of the challenges the kids does in the programs.

This diecut from Cosmo Cricket works well with this theme!

I added some tickets and used corrugated alphas from Jillibean Soup.

I used my easy stamp and my new rollstamp with cameras from Cocoa Daisy

I hope you join us!

Thanks for stopping by!

Project Life – week 20 vernissage

This week the main focus was a vernissage at kindergarden. The children at T:s department have been working on a big animal ”a basilisk” , a fantasyanimal made of papier- maché with big tooth and wings. The children have been working on it the hole spring and now it was finish into the big day. The older children at O:s department have been working about the body, what´s happen inside the body when we eat? and things like that.

The big alphabetstickers is from Jillibean Soup.

Great talkbubbles from Teresa Collins.

Project Life – week 19

My Project Life – week 19. This week we ate luch outside for the first time for the season, bbqed hotdogs. Everyone enjoyed to eat outside, it´s one of the best thing with summer! T also helped P to plant flowers.

I have placed the photos in rows together with some embellishment. I never remember what weather it was last year on a certain day so I think Project Life is awesome. This help me and the rest of the family to check out the weather and what we did when last year.

The heart is a rest from a diecut. I stamped on a piece of cardstock and put it behind the heart.

This background stamp with starpattern is from Cocoa Daisy and it´s lovely. I use it a lot!

I used alphabetstickers from Jillibean Soup.

Blue blue winds and water

Title: ”Time for bath”

This is my take for a guest- dt call at ”En liten butik i Mörrum”

The theme” blue blue winds and water” made me think of summer and water so I choose these photos where my boys is preparing the pool in the garden.

I wanted to have a lot of blue in the background. I started to use two shades of blue of NeoColors II. Then I mixed blue dylusionmist with glassbeads medium. I used the mix with a chevronstencil to create the feeling of waves.

I also splattered the blue dylusionmist and let it stream just like water does. I layered tissuepaper from Tim Holtz and a package from Prima behind the photos.

Here you can se some close ups:

I wanted to use blue as a main color but also green as it´s a lot of green in the photos. I think the colorcombo shines together.

I added a tag from a store and made some splatters on it.

The photoframes comes from Jillibean Soup, I love to use them, the words pops out when you got a bright color behind it.

Wish me luck :)

Project Life – week 18

This week we went to our friends which had moved to a new apartment some time ago. The children played and then we went to the park. It was a lovely springweather! T wrote his name in the sand for the first time!

I got this wonderful paper from my latest Cocoa Daisy kit, it´s from Elle´s studio and I love the big bright flowers. When you do a Project Life it´s often a lot of colors and things happening in the photos. Together with this vivid background it´s a risk to be to much so I put a layer of white acrylic paint and a circle to concentrate the photos in one spot. I thought it was enough happening at the layout so I didn´t add that much embellishment.

Black stickersalphabet from Jillibean Soup

White acrylicpaint and a bit of the circle.

Some small embellishment.

Project Life – week 9

This week our youngest son turned 4 and of course that happening was the focus this week. He loves Star Wars right know and was so happy when he got Star Wars Lego as birthdaygift. The backgroundpaper with flags is from Jillibeans Soup and works perfect for the theme. I also added embellishments with birthdayparty theme from Jillibean Soup

Here is the close ups:

Project Life – week 7

The weeks goes by so fast and I´m so glad that I´m participating in the Project Life project and documenting with photos and journaling everything who happening in our lifes. This week our youngest son all of a sudden starts to draw cephalopods, It was so cool to see him in action, drawing and drawing and he was so proud. The same week we had a visit from a couple of pheasants in the garden:). My husband have tried to capture them on a photo several times before but without any luck. But this time it worked!

When I have several photos at my pages I don´t use so much decoration. On this page I have added a couple of Maya Road canvas banners, twine and a flower.

Close ups:

I misted the canvasbanners to fit in more…..

Alphabetstickers from Jillibean Soup. I´ve used a black pen for the outlines, to make it pop out more.

Veckans Skiss – week 14

This week Marja have done a lovely card sketch. I made this bithdaycard based on the sketch. I´ve used pink papers from Jillibean Soup and Alison Kreft designed for Websters Pages. The blue arrowpaper and the messurestrips comes from Echo Park.

Here is Marjas lovely cardsketch:

Don´t forget to look here what the other Dt-members has created! It´s okey if you rather prefer to make a page based on the sketch!

I hope you join us this week, we love looots of entrys!! Deadline is Monday the 8th of April.

Have a beutiful Thursday!

Easter card

This eastercard (15cm x 15cm) is my take on a eastercardchallenge at MSW. I have used an old collection from Jillibean Soup and I think the chickens are adorable. I´ve used orange tissuepaper (which is packagematerial from my CDkit). I also added some purple buttons.

We will stay at home during easter. I hope for a nice chill holliday and  of course, I hope for some scraptime:)
