Now everything starts again after the summerbreaks and we are up and rolling with a lovely sketch drawn by Lotta. You can see it here!
The layout is about one of the warm summerdays when we went to the beach nearby.
For this layout I have used: paper from Elles studio, stickers, paper and stickers from Simple Stories, flower from Bo Bunny, the arrow from Studio Calico.
I hope you join us this week!
Here is the text two sketches in the Summerchallenges at Veckans Skiss.
Here is my layout based on Ulrikas summersketch on the theme raspberries/ strawberries:
This photo is from last summer. My youngest son is eating strawberries and making funny faces.
Some red and white decorations….
I have use a die-cut calendarcard from Jenni Bowlin studio to get the round shape from the sketch. The strawberry pictures is cut out from a pattern paper.
I love this paper with cherries. Even though it´s not raspberries or strawberries I think it works anyway with the theme. It´s from October Afternoon, collection Farm Girl.
Now I hope to see your take on the sketch! I hope you join our summerchallenges!
Have a great day!
Now the summerchallenges at Veckans Skiss has started! You get two sketches this week and two sketches next week. Read all about it here!

Of course I took the opportunity to make a layout based on it!
Title:” Wild kids”
Last summer we went to Furuviksparken, a park with a zoo, a funfair and a area when the recorded earlier episodes of ”Wild kids”, a adventureprogram for children. The boys was very thrilled to get there (and even me and my husband:) thought it was fun to test some of the challenges the kids does in the programs.
This diecut from Cosmo Cricket works well with this theme!
I added some tickets and used corrugated alphas from Jillibean Soup.
I used my easy stamp and my new rollstamp with cameras from Cocoa Daisy
I hope you join us!
Thanks for stopping by!
The summerchallenge at Veckans Skiss is up and going. I have done a sketch with the theme flowers and petals. You can see the sketch here!
Here is my own take on my sketch:
This beautiful flower is growing in our garden. It´s tall and have a round shape at the top with a lot of small flowers, in Sweden it´s called alumlök. It´s one of my favorites in the garden and it makes me smile every year it´s blooming:)
I have stamped a flower with waterproff ink and then misted with two different mists.
A die-cut swirl from Tim Holtz and a frame to emphasize the magnificence!
If you don´t have joined our summerchallenges yet, take a break from the beach and scrap with us! Read all about it here!
Have a great day!
Marja have done a lovely sketch this week. Check it out here!
What is it with small children and water? My page is about when my boys was little and were so interested in the water in a pond, they just needed to touch it:)
I have used a roundshaped die with stars from Nellie Snellen…
I have used the other part from the diecut behind the photos. I also cut out flowers from a patterned paper I got from Hobbyworld a while ago.
I love to mixed alphas both in colors, sizes and fonts!

This week we have the honour to have one of our readers Brittis as a guest designer. You can see her sketch here!
I was inspired av the layers and the circle in the sketch. I wrote a journalingtag but it´s a bit personal so I choosed to hide it in a envelope från Maya Road.
A decoration I have had in my stash for ages, I don´t remember where it come from. It fits perfect for this purpose I think.
I love to work with different layers in different colours
I hope you will join us this week. Check the rules out and what the other teammembers have created here!

Title: ”Dream team”
I have followed Tanjas sketch pretty much. I got a single photo, some layers behind it and some circles and flags. I have documented the boys development when they where little and now I have used some of it here in the journaling.
The lovely bike is from Jillibean Soup……
A piechartwheele from Echo Park. It´s a pattern paper so I cut this one out….

This week it´s MayLindas turn to make a sketch. You can see it here! A great sketch where the photos are apart, I like it! And of course I have made a page based on the sketch. Even this time I have used products from my lovely sponsorkit from Hobbyworld:
The LO is about my youngest son making faces when he was playing at the playground a while ago. I think this photos are great, you can really see his happiness. I have used patterned paper to the background and I have cut out flowers from another paper. I like the photos apart and the title in the middle. I will definitley make another page like this again:)
Products that I have used from the kit:
Basic Grey ”Lucille” – Seams
Basic Grey ”Lucille” – Mini skirt
Basic Grey ” Lucille” – Pin it
Basic Gey ”Lucille” – stickersalfabet
Basic Grey ”Lucille” – Element stickers
Basic Grey ”Lucille” – Shift
Marianne Design – Paper Tape
Scrapbook Adhesive – My Stick
Here you can see some close ups:
I have cut out flowers from one of the patterned paper and used 3D square foam dots to get some dimension. I don´t cut out pattern from papers that often, I really want to do that more. I think you can get great shapes and patterned and get a lovely touch to your work.
The cool alphabetstickers with ”stitches” from Basic Greys collection ”Lucille”. Tha background paper have a patterned of a sawing design and it works so well together.
I just love beautiful sentences! I use them a lot, especially when I do Project Life pages or pages about my kids.
I hope you join us this week! Read the rules here!
Have a nice Thursday!
