Shoes at Allt om Scrap

This Sunday we had focus on shoes in the blog.  I did this layout about my yellow shoes. I´m not a shoe person but this pair I just love:

For this layout I have used: yellow pan pastell, a leftover from a alphabet as a mask, green dylusionmist, a empty package from Prima, scraps, stickers from Jillibean Soup, Thickers, minialphas from Glitz, stamp eazy, different decorations, datestamp from Dear Lizzie.

My last sketch at My Sketch World

Unfortunately this is my last post for My Sketch World. Lucy is going to keep publishing sketches at MSW on a irregular basis but the designteam will not continue.  As a fun thing we have been digging around old sketches this month. I have made a layout based on this from August 2010:

Sketch from My Sketch World August 2010. Made of Lucy Chesna

Here is my take:

I have used a stamp (I don´t know the brand) with circles tied together. I don´t use it so much but I think it´s great for backgrounds like this, what do you think?. On top I added mist and journaling around the photo.

Junesketch at My Sketch World

Based on Lucys sketch for June I have done this layout:

Title: ”Cooling”

This photo is from last summer when we went to Nynäshamn (we always make at least one trip there every summer:). This picture is taken down at the pier when O is eating a ice-cream in the sun.

A lot of layers for dimension and interest…

A misted doilie….

Spring Fling Crop

The Spring Fling has started over at My Sketch World Forum, I hope that you will come over and join us.  The challenges started the 3th of May and will be posted through  May 6th.  You will have until Sunday, May 19th and midnight PST to post your entries.  One of the challenges is my layering challenge. Here is my page:

Title: ”Crocus”

This beautiful crocus lives in our garden. I think it´s so pretty with it´s pink/purple color.
I have started with a layer of modelling paste and mist and then worked with several paperlayers.

Mist, stamp, layers and a lovely flowerribbon I got from my mom.

of course …..a lot of flowers on a spring page.

more flowers and layers……

I have filled in the outlines with a black pen. I love that effect. The layers pops out more!

Art for myself- I´m good

Title: ” I like to do that wich I´m good at”

The other day I made a guest post at Art for myself. It´s fun and liberating to do a Art journaling page now and then:) This month the theme is ”I´m good”.

After I covered the page with gesso I misted with yellow and pink mist. I also used a starstencil from Dylusions and my Big Brush Pens to fill the stars in. I made a layer with modellingpaste and a punchinellastencil and I also made some  arrows with green Lumiere acrylic paint and a stencil. Some stamped stars joined to:) At last but not least some green alphabetstickers.

Cultivating little seeds

This is my take for a inspirationchallenge at Scraplagrets cybercrop this Easterweekend. I have been inspired of the colorcombo, soft pastells and the feeling of fresh spring and flowers. I have used green acrylic paint together with a stencil ans yellow mist for the background. I also used some bubblewrap to ”stamp” with turqouise acrylic paint. The patterned paper, some of the decorations and the big alphas is from my latest Cocoa Daisy kit.

The page is about when we  cultivated seeds about a week ago. This page makes me long for spring. Unfortunatley the temperature is still very cold for this time a year. I hope the warm weather comes soon!

Here is some close ups:

Different mists and acrylic paints, sawing and some stickers from Echo Park

I love the corrugated alphas from Jillibean Soup…..

More paint together with springflowers

Waiting for summer

Every summer we visit Nynäshamn, a port south of Stockholm. When we visit we always eat down at the fishing huts.  I always eat shrimps and my husband always eat a big sandwich with seafood and the boys always eats panncakes. Here is our oldest son waiting for the panncakes, this is a tradition every year:).

I have used grey and blue mist, a starstamp and decorated with shells and string to get a marine feeling

Here is some close ups:

The mist and the starstamp….

I cut out this boat from a patterned paper (Maja Design, a Swedish company), the banners is also from Maja Design papers. I added some shells to get the marine look.

My beloved datestamp from Dear Lizzy
