This week we at The Sketch of the Week (Veckans Skiss) have the honour to have Lillblomman as a guestdesigner. She has created a lovely sketch and here is my take on it. For the backgrund I have misted tre doilies with red dylusionsmist and put them together. The backgroundspaper and the patterned craftpaper is from my January kit från CD.
Here is some close ups:
The rest from a diecut heart misted with read dylusionspray.
Misted white flowers with ”Moonlight” from Tattered Angels.
Flagstamps from Cocoa Daisy. I love them, they goes to everything:)
I needed two t but I had one left so I added a questionmark:)
Take the chans to make your own take on Lillblommans sketch this week. Check out the sketch and read about the rules HERE and check out the other DT-members fanstastic work.
I hope you will join us this week!
Ziro, together with a couple of other girls has started a blog ”Art for myself” in purpose to make an Art journaling over the year with different themes. The blog is open for everyone to create art journaling work within the theme and load them up there. This month the theme is ”My thoughts about 2013″
I have covered the background with turqouise acrylic paint, then I put a thin layer of white acrylic paint and swapped carefully over the page with a babywipe before it dry just to get a white transparent layer. Then i used a couple of different stamps, stamped with Rangers Archival Ink (waterproof).
I cut out the heart from ordinary white paper. Then I used red distressink together with a stencil. I stamped some swirls and hearts on it. When I used decopageglue to seal the layer and glue the heart on the background some of the red from the distressink spread out a little, actually this was perfect because the heart was very bright white before so this helpt to melt it together with the background.
About the theme: I remind myself to be happy this year, to be happy means for me; be honest to myself, test new things, do what I want and so on. All this things together makes me happy. This is my newyear resolution to myself!
Thanks for stopping by!
This month Nathalie Kalbach has gathered a whole bunch of talented artists to get us out there more creative!! And this is superfun!! Every day one of the artist send you a little video with different things, tutorials, tips etc. The red thread is to inspire and they have succeded, I can tell you!! Here is a tag I made from a video with Heidi Swapp who teaught us how to mist and stamp within masks and stencils. This tag is my take on this:
I made a heartstencil out of a paper. Then I used a stencil and a Maya Road Limemetallic mist, on that I sprayed coppermistfrom Tattered Angels, to get more effect. After it dried I stamped a couple of different stamps. On the little heart I added a button. I´m very pleased with my first take in the Creative Jumpstart 2013
