My boys loves to climb in the jungle gym at the playground. Look at their happy faces!

I love to use black cardstock as base when I use black and white photos. I think it works so well together and the colored paper pops up in a great way!

This week it´s my turn to show a sketch at Veckans Skiss. You can see it here! This week I have made two pages based on my take. Here is the first one:

Title: ”tore”

I cut a photo in three pices. It´s the first time I tried this, usually I think it´s to scary to cut in photos but I´m very pleased with the result. This backgroundpaper with distressed chevronpattern comes from Glitz, they have made a lot of beautiful patterned papers this spring! I new early that I wanted to made the page rather simple and let the cool attitude from the photo be in focus.

Cool effect with black glimmer glam! It´s almost like nail polish:)

In my kit I hade a beautiful paper collection from Basic Grey called Lucille. A lovely collection with a lot of beautiful colors on the theme sawing. Here is one of my take with this lovely kit also based on my own sketch this week:

Title: ”Saturday breakfast”

I have used cardstock French Vanilla as the background. It´s  three layers with patternpaper from Basic Greys ”Lucille collection”; wrap dress, pleat, gather and shift. I used my notebookpunch to get some dimension. I made some circles out of the papers and added pink acrylic paint and black glimmer glam from my own stuff. I also used a stamp from stampers Anonymous with a sewingmachine label wich is my own. I saw around the edges with my sewingmachine and added some paper tape from Marianne design from my sponsor kit

I cut out circles from some of the papers, distessed the edges and used may sewingmashine.

Beautiful alfabetstickers in the same collection ”Lucille” . Look at the ”stiches ”, so fun!

LOOOve the little flag stickers in the collection. Here can you see all the layers. The papertape is fun to work with and matches perfect the rest of the page!

”Tittut”- ”Pickaboo”

Det blev en hel del layouter till den här cybercropen på Cocoa Daisy. Det har lett till att jag har vunnit titeln ”Queen of the Springcrop 2012″, hur häftigt som helst! Jag är både glad och tacksam på samma gång!

Jag brukar oftast använda vit cardstock som bas men här har jag valt ett väldigt mönstrat papper från Basic Grey som jag bara ääälskar. De handmålade blommorna är så härliga. Den lilla trädstämpeln är från Hero Art och jag har haft den länge utan att riktigt gilla den förr än för ett tag sedan och nu är det en av mina favoritstämplar för stunden.

English:

I made a whole bunch of enteries for the Spring crop at the forum Cocoa Daisy. Because of that I have now won the title ”Qween of the Springcrop 2012″. I´m both happy and grateful at the same time!

Most of the time I use white cardstock as background but here I have choosen a very patterned paper from Basic Grey, I love all the handpainted flovers.  I´ve own the little treestamp  from Hero Arts for a loong time but I´ts now I´ve started to like it a lot.

”Stark som Pippi”- ”Strong as Pippi”

Här var utmaningen hos Cocoa Daisy att göra en staty genom att klippa ut en person ur ett svarttvitt foto. LO:n handlar om min älsta son som just nu pratar mycket om muskler och om hur stark han är och att Pippi Långstrum och Bamse också är jättestarka:).

English:

The challenge at Cocoa Daisy was to ”make a parkstatue”(cut out a person from a black and white photo). I have a hard time cut out persons from photos but this was fun. This LO is about my oldest son who is very in to muscles right know:). I use to tell us that he is very strong, and so is Pippi Longstocking.

”Djurvän”- ”Animalfriend”

I den här utmaningen skulle man inspireras av sången ””These are a few of my favourite things”  från filmen Sounds of music” (färgen brunt, snöre, paket, snöflingor och häst är det som jag har inspirerats av i sången

This challenge was to make an Lo and be inspired from the song ””These are a few of my favourite things” in the movie ”Sound of music”. (the colour brown, wool, package, snowflakes and horse is the things that inspired me in the song.
