Title: ”Faces”

The LO is about my youngest son making faces when he was playing at the playground a while ago. I think this photos are great, you can really see his happiness. I have used patterned paper to the background and I have cut out flowers from another paper. I like the photos apart and the title in the middle. I will definitley make another page like this again:)

I have cut out flowers from one of the patterned paper and used 3D square foam dots to get some dimension. I don´t cut out pattern from papers that often, I really want to do that more. I think you can get great shapes and patterned and get a lovely touch to your work.

The cool alphabetstickers with ”stitches”  from Basic Greys collection ”Lucille”. Tha background paper have a patterned of a sawing design and it works so well together.

I just love beautiful sentences! I use them a lot, especially when I do Project Life pages or pages about my kids.

Men ofta lider jag av att jag inte minns när jag ska göra vad, när ska man beskära rosorna egentligen? När är det dags att gödsla i rabatterna? För oss med kort minne finns det som tur är räddning. Det finns trädgårdssajter som har månadskalendrar och ”Att göra -listor”  för trädgården. Ser kan du se exakt, månad för månad, vad som ska göras i trädgården. Det gör att även vi som inte minns år från år kan hänga med och få både härliga bär och fina blommor. Plantagen är en av flera som har en sådan förnämlig lista. Du hittar den här!

Hoppas att du som är som jag också får hjälp av denna kalender, och att ni som har full koll kan ha den som ett extra stöd för minnet:)

I have build up the page as the fotopocket pages for Project Life. I have used several photos together with patterned paper. In this way the photos will be in focus. I added some decorations to get some dimension.

I have made a page based on the sketch. I have used products from the kit that I got from  Hobbyworld, the sponsor of the month, at Veckans Skiss:

Title: ” Climbing is fun”

My boys loves to climb in the jungle gym at the playground. Look at their happy faces!

I love to use black cardstock as base when I use black and white photos. I think it works so well together and the colored paper pops up in a great way!

In have used products from Basic Greys collection ”Lucille” that I got from Hobbyworld. Here is my productlist.

Right know, I just love the colorcombo cerise and orange with a little touch of blue. I used this on the card because I like unconventional colors, it gives a fun twist, I think. The papers is from an old collection of Websters Page ” Trendsetter”, perfect for the colorcombo:). I also wanted a little tougher card so I choose this cool chick from The Greeting Farm:) The tag is made of white cardstock. I used distressinkpad (Rusty Hinge), and my distresstool and colored it.

I have used several ”older” things on my card today and I hope I have inspired you to take a second look att the older scrapstuff you have home, mabye something is ”trendy” again? or mabye you look at it with new eyes, mabye make something different out of it?

This week I have used a sketch from My Sketch World for my Project Life page. You can see it here!

This week it was the Easterhollidays, the kids dressed up as Easter witches, we celebrated the holliday with our family and relatives and we ate bbq for the first time this year, yes, this was a very nice week:)

I have follow the sketch pretty much! This time I used a black cardstock for backgrund and I worked with patterned papers only, no paint or mist this time. I think the colors and patterned from the papers often pops up when you used a black background. But black can be a problem if you want to use mist for exampel, most of them don´t show on black unfortunatley.

I have used 3 different papers and cut out squares and rectangles and placed them in layers. I  made round corners with my punch

A big nice flower from Petaloo. Love the size of it:)

I love stickers and I use them a lot in my work. These stickers comes from October Afternoon.
